First ninjas defended the locals and themselves from robbery.

First ninjas were individuals gathered in the village where they lived who defended the locals and themselves from robbery. Over time, these groups had strengthened and began to build their own code of conduct and specific way of fighting. Espionage and murder in an ambush were considered dishonorable forms of fighting, and were applied only by people from lower social classes, literally called non-humans. All the techniques that were specialized by these fighters, have been called ninjutsu, from which originated the name of the ninjas.
